There's no doubt, though, that awareness about gluten intolerance and Celiacs is on the rise, and as that awareness rises, so too does the demand for GF resources, like blogs, recipes, cookbooks, restaurants, products, etc. So we're seeing a trend in GF awareness. But that hardly makes it trendy. Trendy implies something that is hip and cool, and that can fade away over time. Those of us on the GF side of life know, however, that we're committed to this diet for life. From that perspective, it's hardly trend, or a trend. It just is!

Cheers, Petepeterbronskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17048848527195520324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4706374459042869519.post-22705761802001793432008-10-02T11:12:00.000-06:002008-10-02T11:12:00.000-06:00Great post! And, I am always horrified at how many people 'write off' food allergies as trendy. It contributes to my worry over how people will react to my dietary needs. I even read a WebMD article that cites gluten intolerance as trendy!Lauren Dennesonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03404421755790848439noreply@blogger.com
