I've been reading your blog for some ...Hi Guys,
I've been reading your blog for some time now, since I was diagnosed last year actually and I really appreciate it and all the work you do to keep it up. It's a work!
I especially like your product reviews, because they are honest and uncompromising. Thank you for that.
I live in Mexico and recently a blog reader brought some Trader Joe's GF Ginger Snap cookies for me. I was thrilled. Then I ate them and I was sick. Hmmmmm. So I did a lot of experimenting with them, since she brought 4 bags and I REALLY wanted to be able to eat them!
In the end, and after writing them a few times, I decided that they also are unable to know for sure their products are GF because they buy from many manufacturers and repackage.
I also discovered that the culprit in this product was probably xanthan gum and after more exploring on that topic, I find it can be made from a cultured wheat and that many other of us GFers cannot tolerate it either.
I wonder if you have information or experience with this as well. Also, do you have TJs in your area? Would love to see a product review on some of their GF products.
Thanks so much for your blog, I will be having the Zuc pancakes tonight.
Marilyn- Mexican Trailrunnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05987460497945211699noreply@blogger.com
